From its first flesh-eating frames, Uncle Peckerhead lets you know you’re in for a gory fun ride. A punk band named DUH hits the road on their first tour, along with a brand-new roadie calling himself Peckerhead. He’s a sweet old guy with Southern charm, and what’s more, he owns a van in which to carry the band and their equipment. Not long after they hit the road, they discover his darker side when the band’s de facto leader Julie walks in on him having a most taboo meal. Everyone agrees on two things: he ate someone who deserved it and they need his van. So, an uneasy alliance is struck, and the road life becomes a highway to hell in this punk rock flick filled with offbeat humor and gore aplenty. – Nick Coleman
