Love has many facets, choose your angle to let the rays shine. One beautiful day, Alex, a forty-something translator, finds her father, Jean, alone in his house. Her mother has left home without telling anyone. To make matters worse, Jean has old-age dementia. Surprisingly, this provides Alex with an opportunity – a welcome outlet from a troubled marriage – as she decides to move in with, and care for her father. Day by day, and layer by layer, the ancient family secrets unravel leaving Alex questioning her choices.
