Do you change or accept the person you see in the mirror? Writer-Director Natasha Kermani beautifully orchestrates a journey of self-discovery with the story of two women, or really one. A mysterious woman lands in the Southwest and assumes the identity of the first person she sees: a woman on a magazine cover. That woman is Julianna Fox, a porn star trying to find herself amid her own self-destruction. Her life seems to be going anywhere but up. Although uncertain of each other's existence their paths are the same. Kermani’s Imitation Girl is a lyrically compelling film that will make you question your own intentions in life along with those of the characters. – Sonia Maria
