Her fate hangs in the balance of his memory. Kathrine and Thomas arrive for a romantic weekend together on a remote island. Away from civilization, long-simmering tensions between them begin to erupt, and Thomas' sheen of gentility crumbles, revealing a psychopathic core that shocks Kathrine. When she accidentally pushes Thomas down a flight of stairs, he awakens with amnesia, revealing once again the man with whom she fell in love.
