Aim to be the difference. Eleven-year-old Freddy is the son of Andre, a fourth generation butcher in a small town. They have a tumultuous relationship emanating from the fact that Andre cannot accept Freddy or his condition as "normal." Their worlds get flipped upside down when a new supermarket, Magique, is set to open. To mark its opening day, a cycling race is held, in which the winner will meet famed cyclist Eddy Merckx. Although knowing his father is a fierce opponent of the supermarket, Freddy sneaks off to Magique to compete.

In this heartfelt family comedy, Freddy and Andre are exposed to the societal changes of the 70s, opening up a whole new world for not only themselves, but also for the people around them. - Kristy Yip
