Mixed Kebab

Running time: 98 mins

Following your heart is more important than following society.

Ibrahim (Bram) is Turkish, Belgian, Muslim and gay with an arranged marriage to his cousin in the works. Bram's brother, Furkan, can't seem to stay out of trouble until converting to Islamic Fundamentalism. Bram flies to Turkey for his bride, Elif, with his love interest, Kevin, as his travel companion. Bram tries to keep his secret hidden until electronic evidence is used to blackmail him, and he is cast out by his family. Finding refuge in Kevin and his mother Mariana's restaurant, all seems to be well until one event causes everyone's lives to collide.

Director Guy Lee Thys' electrifying and multicultural cast brilliantly captures courage, tolerance, and the beauty of love conquering hate.
