Cheap Fun is a comedic wake-up call, playing off the monotony of a directionless life. Ian's days are droll and lack ambition; failing in school is a constant reminder. Every night, he plays host to his friends who congregate in his garage to escape the hassles of everyday life. But when Ian breaks from the mundane, all of the unspoken tension in the group is unleashed and disaster strikes. Now that everyone's feelings are out in the open, will they remain friends by the end of the evening? In the smoky haze of adolescence, sometimes growing up means investing in the future rather than squandering your days with cheap fun.
