Push: Madison Vs Madison

PUSH Madison Vs Madison

Running time: 105 mins

A coach is consumed with winning a championship and making men out of boys.

Dennis Wilson teaches history at Madison High, an inner city school in Boston. But more importantly to both him and his students, he coaches the school?s undefeated basketball team.

Gangs, single parent homes, poverty and crime all reign supreme with the students at Madison. Coach Wilson has to compete with all of these challenges as he tries to unite his players to reach the common goal of becoming State Champions. As we meet the various players, we can?t help but admire Coach Wilson for his relentless energy. However, experience and dedication alone cannot determine the outcome of a game, especially when it depends on teenagers whose lives are consumed with a hostile environment as unpredictable as the game itself.

Through an inspirational underdog story, director Rudy Hypolite brilliantly portrays the dedication of a flawed yet valiant educator trying to be the best coach, teacher, mentor and man he can be and the students whose lives he impacts every day.
