Heat Waves

Running time: 99 mins

When love is in the air, you?re in for a heat wave.

When widowed Quebecois social worker Gisele Couture (Marie-Therese Fortin) discovers that her deceased husband was having an affair with a mystery woman, her whole life is thrown into a tailspin. Her twin children and sister are worried about her state of mind, and every eligible bachelor in her life thinks he has the answer to her problems, but it is Yannick, (Francois Arnaud) a very dangerous young man with a troubled past, who will stop at nothing to tear her out of her constricting roles as dutiful mother and co-worker. All the while, Gisele comes closer and closer to discovering who her husband?s mistress was and an even greater moment of truth.

A light-hearted tale of people giving in to passion, Heat Wave trusts its audience to know how to laugh when convention would expect us to cry and to discover the joys of love outside the lines society draws for us.
