Low Lights
Running time: 92 mins
When the sun goes down, life takes on new meaning.
Bored with everyday life, three people wait for nightfall to live out desires otherwise suppressed by the sunlight. Married insurance workers Tadas and Laura are stuck in a rut, unable to escape everyday?s mundane activities. It is not until Linas, an old friend, shows up that they find themselves doing things they would otherwise never do. One night, Linas takes Tadas on one of his driving ?rituals? where they happen upon Laura, who has secretly been partaking in her own nocturnal escapade. What ensues is a night of daring adventure, excitement and revival. The door of possibilities is suddenly opened as both men find themselves exploring the city with a new outlook on life and experiencing things unbeknownst to the daylight. Director Ignas Miskinis beautifully and uniquely manifests the idea of unleashing our inner desires and living carelessly, seizing life by the moment.
