The Least Among You
Running time: 97 mins
What may look like weakness may just turn out to be your most important weapon.
With the incredible talents of Academy Award-winning Louis Gossett, Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman), Lauren Holly (Picket Fences), Golden Globe and Emmy nominated William Devane (24) and NAACP Theatre Award-winning Cedric Sanders, Mark Young?s debut The Least Among You deftly transports us back into an era that serves to question our socially progressive guise.
Richard Kelly is a star high school pupil in 1965 Los Angeles, with nothing but a bright future ahead. His best-laid plans are derailed when he is unjustly arrested and his only way out of jail is a bizarre plea bargain that lands him in an all-white seminary, where he becomes the helpless pawn of a corrupt administrator. With a kindly black janitor as his sole ally, Kelly must battle overt and thinly veiled racism without self-destructing into fits of smoldering rage.
