The Truth?

Running time: 87 mins

Can we ever know the truth, or is it too changeable and elusive, always just beyond our grasp?

A riveting, complex tale of espionage, manipulation, and betrayal, where the line between right and wrong and good and evil is constantly shifting and always blurry.

Helen Smyth, a New Zealand journalist, travels to Cuba with her family. While there, she by chance meets enigmatic, suave and beguiling Nestor Baguer. Later, however, after being pulled into a tangled web of intrigue, Smyth senses that something is wrong.

After leaving Cuba, she learns some disturbing information about Baguer and begins to assemble the missing pieces. Determined to discover the truth behind the mysterious Baguer, Smyth returns to Cuba, only to find a world where things are even more confusing than before and nothing is at all what it seems.
