Full Grown Men

Running time: 80 mins

David Munro?s Full Grown Men is a fascinating case study about a man who refuses to grow up. In an attempt to recapture the joy of youth, a disenchanted middle-aged man immerses himself into his childhood way of life.

Alby Cutrera is trapped in a state of perpetual infancy. Frustrated by the dull and routine reality of adulthood, Alby abandons his family in search of a simpler time: when life consisted of nothing more than action figures and comic books.

Returning to his childhood home, Alby unearths the past and resumes his childhood persona. Like a contemporary version of Peter Pan, Alby meticulously reconstructs his youth; he begins by rekindling a dead relationship with his childhood best friend. As the two embark on a memorable trip to Diggityland, Alby discovers that the past is not exactly as he remembered.

Full Grown Men is a poignant story of nostalgia, and how a man?s emotional growth can be stunted by his desperate longing for the past.
