Satellite

Running time: 100 mins

They say love makes you do crazy things, but does that include confronting life?s greatest fears? For Kevin and Ro, falling in love means just that. Their love is about finding what they want and going for it, just as Ro seeks out Kevin and tricks him into thinking he actually picked her up. As their romance burgeons, their intoxication with each other they disregard their workaday lives, sell their possessions and then begin to dare each other to do all the things they avoid or fear the most.

This charming romantic comedy is appropriately set against the bustle of New York City in which stopping for romance seems impossible. The real question arises? Is their passion strong enough to conquer their limitations? Or, is it a case of the flame burning the hottest burning the shortest? Chemistry between the two leads sizzles and intoxicates making it impossible to not cheer them on as they tackle some of life?s most difficult and sometimes dangerous obstacles.

Writer and director Jeff Winner adds a unique perspective to the modern love story through this character-driven tale. Satellite delivers a quirky affront to the standard romantic comedy satisfying even the most cynical as to the joys and triumphs of being in love.
