Bent is a young man whose sleepy life from work to home is built upon routine after routine. His steadiest relationships are with his old father, for whom he dutifully brings dinner every night, and with his barber, Frank, who has diligently cut Bent?s hair for the last ten years. One day, however, Susie moves in the neighborhood, and the predictability of Bent?s life is thrown out of whack by the lovely young woman who captures his heart. All is not well with jealous pal Frank, however, who sees Susie as taking away not only a customer, but also a friend.
