Kåre has always had two dreams: to play professional soccer and to marry Anna at Old Trafford. At age 26, Kåre is still with Anna, but he is merely holding a warehouse job at the local shipyard and coaching a group of little league level kids?a has-been that never was. Even worse, when his old rival, Stian, returns as a successful business big shot to save the shipyard, Kåre is confronted with possibly losing his job and the fact that Anna has had about enough of his lack of initiative. Can Kåre become the man he has always dreamed of being?
