Who would have thought that a small high school from Northern California would have a football team that has won over 150 straight games and is ranked #1 in the country year after year? Welcome to De La Salle High, where it's not about X's and O's...it's about having faith in something larger than yourself.

Director Tim O'Hara goes behind the scenes for a never-before-seen look at a year in the life of the De La Salle football powerhouse and their remarkable Head Coach, Bob Ladouceur, (as well as a glimpse at the unified community which gives its all-out support to the team) as they journey, not simply to win another championship or break another national record, but to become a cohesive team bound by love.

While preconceived notions of high school football are quickly forgotten, we are reminded to question the importance of winning at any cost. However, no matter what view you take on the pressure of high school sports, "1" leaves you with an admiration for the dedication and excellence of those who take pride in the fact that they don't know what it is like to lose in what seems like much more than a game.
