Sometimes the most difficult person to know is yourself.

Cole (Dylan Everett, Pure) is an aspiring young screenwriter looking for his big break. Haley (Niamh Wilson, Random Acts of Violence) is the beautiful daughter of the Oscar-winning writer (David Hewlett, The Shape of Water, Stargate: Atlantis) who happens to be Cole’s idol. Cole becomes obsessed with the idea of getting close to Haley in order to spend time with her famous father, who could guide him and set him up for success. Naturally, he puts his writing skills to work, plotting out the perfect way to meet her. Everything initially goes according to plan, with Cole and Haley on track to have the sort of Hollywood ending that he has neatly scripted. But it doesn’t take long before real life throws a few unpredictable twists their way, causing Cole to question everything he thinks he knows about himself. – Shari Clare
