A writer’s life is fraught with peril.

Void is a tragic and kooky comedy-drama about the price of success, the agony of failure, and situations where your partner just doesn’t get it. Eero Kaila, an author, is suffering from extreme writer’s block and hasn’t published a book in five years. Meanwhile, his girlfriend Pihla’s acting career is flourishing. Both of them are committed to their respective professions and neither is willing to make adjustments for the sake of the relationship. While Pihla accepts a role in a film and moves to the U.K., Eero pursues sailing and traveling to get his creative juices flowing. A baby complicates things further. The day they get married, a prolific and award-winning author invites Eero to come to his place to see how a writer lives. What will it take for Eero to be a great writer?
