Rule of Law or Dignity of Human Life - what comes first? In this intra-cultural powerhouse, set in North Africa, we join the journey of Rinaldi caught between doing his duty and following his heart. Every day millions of immigrants wash up on the shores of new countries, afraid and confused. In harsh situations, some are captured and sentenced to survive under militia control. Rinaldi is entrusted to stop illegal travel from Libya to Italy. Rinaldi goes through the usual procedures of dealing with immigration until he makes the mistake of getting involved with a captivating Somalian woman, Swada, who is trying to travel across Europe to reunite with her husband. Rinaldi must come to terms with how effective and meaningful his work really is in light of bigger and fundamental questions concerning human life and dignity. – Racheal Geremew Presented In Honor Of Jim Boyce
