World Premiere Doug Finelli's feature debut is a delightfully sexy comedy about love, marriage, friendship, and wife swapping. The late '70s: a time of experimentation and sexual freedom. For twelve-year-olds Steve and Eric, the prospects for their future seem limitless. Not quite. A little over 18 years later, Steve and Eric are average guys with average wives in the small town of Freehold, and they have yet to make any kind of mark. They are bored, and the fact that they have become grownups-flipping from MTV to VH1-is driving them nuts and has Eric resorting to jokes about spicing up their lives by "wife swapping." And, although he has a great life, circumstances lead Steve to seriously consider Eric's proposal. Convincing his best friend, however, is just the beginning. How does one ask his wife to try something that breaks so many taboos? And if everything goes according to Steve's plan, is it really enough? Director Finelli takes great care in creating a humorous and endearing tale wherein four people-four friends-are faced with making a choice to do something that would drastically alter their lives and possibly destroy their marriages and friendships.
