Eric is not a relationship kind of guy. But he has decided it is time to turn over a new leaf--he is going to break up with the stripper he met two weeks ago and seek out a serious long-term relationship. Eric meets Heather, and after discussing the differences of the sexes, such as spending loose change and saving shopping bags, Eric decides Heather is the woman of his dreams. She is smart, funny and beautiful. But Heather has just ended a four-year relationship and has no desire to enter into a new one. Moreover, she is determined to shed her "nice girl" image and experience a new wild life style. Following her checklist of rebellious experiences, Heather seeks out coke-snorting Eurotrash, heavy metal bass players, and even a Republican. While Eric tells Heather he is supportive of her rebellion, with the help of his clueless and inept friends, he subversively attempts to sabotage Heather's efforts. Writer/director Matt Gavin gives us a witty script with Seinfeld-esque dialogue and situations, including a hilarious dinner table encounter that would make even George Costanza cringe with embarrassment. As Heather works her way through her list, and as Eric becomes more and more desperate to win her over, this quirky role-reversal war of the sexes will give you a unique view of singles in search of themselves.
