Tony Chang is a struggling Asian-American actor with the classic problem of only getting auditions for parts as Chinese delivery boys. Lester Niles is a struggling African-American comedian whose stand-up is ?purely Jon Stewart observational.? Everyone wants him to be the next Martin Lawrence and to ?black it up a bit,? including his manager Kenny. Both Tony and Lester face life?s everyday struggles together, supporting each other in their fight to pay bills, juggle inter-racial relationships, handle family obligations, and the impending doom that they may never make it.
