Frozen Days

Running time: 91 mins

With its striking black and white cinematography, Danny Lerner?s Frozen Days is a raw and edgy psychological thriller that centers on a woman?s blurred sense of reality after she witnesses a terrorist attack.

Meow, young and attractive, spends her nights scouring the gritty and sordid streets of Tel Aviv, going from bar to bar. Late one night, an online chat session leads to a midnight rendezvous with a complete stranger named Alex. Before Meow can even catch a glimpse of his face, a terrorist attack outside of a club critically injures Alex, consequently throwing him into a coma. Plagued with guilt and confusion, Meow moves into Alex?s apartment and soon assumes Alex?s identity. Meow?s sense of reality quickly deteriorates, and soon it becomes unclear whether or not she has sunk too far into delusion.

The very topic of identity becomes uncertain to both Meow and the viewer as events continue to repeat themselves, and familiar characters fail to recognize Meow. Lerner?s debut is a haunting story that pulls the viewer down a rabbit hole packed with unexpected twists and turns.
