The West Wittering Affair is a romantic-sex-comedy of errors about four confused love-hungry Londoners for whom life can never be the same after one crazy weekend away in the country. Jamie has been invited to a weekend retreat in the English countryside, where he discovers that the two women staying there are both after his body. Usually a loser with women, how can he go wrong? Except that what starts out as a dream come true ends up as a comic nightmare.

Confused over his night of pleasure and subsequent betrayal, Jamie goes to see Greg, a trendy shrink. Unbeknownst to Jamie, Greg has just been dumped by Natasha, who just happens to be one of the women with whom Jamie spent the night. And when Natasha and Kath, longtime best friends, discover what happened that night, they have a little trouble recognizing that an attribute of friendship is sharing. All this leads to repercussions among the four lonely people looking for love in all the wrong places, and the results are typically humorous, sometimes painful and ultimately touching.
