World Premiere

Evan has a schlock reality TV news show which is about to hit the big time. Laura, a local news reporter, is up for a job at a top TV station. To celebrate their good fortunes, Laura?s husband, Richard, rents a house on the Oregon Coast and invites Evan and his wife for a weekend of rest and relaxation. But Richard has a lot more in store for the unsuspecting group.

As the couples settle down into their idyllic hideaway, type A?s Evan and Laura start to show the strain of being away from the bombardment of constant media hype and overkill. After dinner and drinks, things lighten up, and it looks like the mellow weekend will finally come into being. But when Richard sets up his laptop to show off his new Website and his plan, the proverbial shit hits the fan.

Director Matt Lopin introduces us to a world where it is impossible to differentiate between news, entertainment and reality. His story of love, friendship, betrayal and revenge emphasizes how instant communication and technology can affect even the strongest of relationships, let alone those which are about to break on their own.
