LEHR Inc. created Propane Outboard Motors, patented gaseous-fueled engines that nearly eliminate pollution while at the same time being cost-effective and comparable in performance to gasoline engines. The reduction of the emission of volatile organic compounds and methyl-mercury has earned LEHR Inc. the Intel Environment Award at The Tech Awards 2012 and helped in preserving the elements of the earth's food chain one lake ride at a time.
