Small, Beautifully Moving Parts
Running time: 73 mins
Astrophysics time bomb? Piece of cake. Motherhood? Not so much.
Sarah is an idiosyncratic tech-geek linked to a world filled with helpful gadgets. When she finds herself pregnant, it's as if the fatal blue screen popped up on the monitor of her life. She wonders - is there an app for that? Sarah's talent for dissecting devices doesn't translate into assembling the essentials of motherhood. Sarah's parents, too caught up in their own tech toys, offer little help. Abandoned and angry, Sarah journeys off the grid to find her answers. Small, Beautiful Moving Parts is a subtle commentary on those immersed in technology versus those living without.
