Shuffle
Running time: 82 mins
What if you didn't know how old you'd be every time you woke up?
Shuffle captures the spirit of romance, family, and photography. Lovell Milo (T.J. Thyne, Erin Brokovich), an average joe, doesn't have a relationship with his father, yet inherits something from him: narcolepsy. Each time he awakens, it seems his life has fallen out of chronological order, like the shuffling of a deck of cards. He finds himself bewildered as important people appear as vague memories or ominous premonitions. Are the gods toying with him or is he crazy? Engrossed in a mystery he cannot decipher, Lovell is tortured to the breaking point. Directed by Cinequest veteran Kurt Kuenne (Dear Zachary, Scrapbook), Shuffle ups the ante through a philosophical quandary: How and with what will we define ourselves?
