A basketball star with a secret must confront her parents.

Emily Tay, the star of Harvard's women's basketball team, has a secret. Her parents emigrated from Burma and have sacrificed everything for her success, both on and off the court. But Emily has a dream, and it does not include what her parents have planned for her.

After a sensational senior year, Emily goes to Germany to play professionally. During a tumultuous season, she falls in love with a U.S. service woman living under Don't Ask Don't Tell. As we watch a remarkable young woman struggle and grow, Emily needs to find the courage to tell her parents that she must live her life in the only way she can be true to herself.
