The Blind

The Blind

Running time: 72 mins

A portrait of a relationship gone bad that keeps on ticking.

An architect Marcus and his girlfriend Kate are not unlike many couples. Marcus goes to work and struggles to create new designs while Kate strives to fulfill his every need as a good little homemaker should. When Marcus begins to spend more hours at work with his new contract, Kate assuages her growing boredom by taking care of Herman, an aging man across the street. But when both Marcus and Kate?s personal worlds begin to fall apart, they are forced to confront their real problems with explosive results.

Nathan Silver?s The Blind resembles a horror movie of everyday life leading to a shocking conclusion. Spot-on performances by Jonas Ball and Josette Barchilon, along with beautiful cinematography by Rain Li (Paris Je T?aime) and Silver?s inspired craftsmanship make for a very non-traditional romance.
