Jacob is a secretive loner dealing with a rare skin disorder, resulting in his insatiable appetite for blood and predilection for darkness. His otherwise mundane existence finds a spark when Jacob meets Mary, a charming bartender with secrets of her own. The two embark on a passionate tryst, only to have their hidden desires put a wall between them. As Mary tackles her problems, Jacob?s world begins to unravel as he realizes that people he knows are turning up missing.

Director Scott Leberecht?s smartly enigmatic debut feature slyly combines romance and psychological thriller for a character study which plays on traditional horror themes in an understated, subtle manner-- portraying the gritty tale of a man who simply wants to find love and remain good in spite of who he is becoming.
