In the desert of life, there's only one escape from the heat.

Dan?s attempts at becoming a famous songwriter seem to be going just fine, until his wake-up call one morning turns out to be an eviction notice and a repo man driving away in his truck?all because some music producer named Lefty sold him an empty dream and disappeared. This is the final straw for Dan?s girlfriend, Skye, who has been pushing him to move to LA for some time. So, they steal a car and hit the road. On their journey through the dust and desperation of the desert, Dan's diversion into a search for Lefty leads the pair down a path where they must make drastic, goal-averting decisions at each step.

In director Steve Loff?s dryly comical, modern day Bonnie and Clyde, nothing and no one are what you would expect.
