The Orange Girl

Running time: 81 mins

Love comes in all colors.

Jan sees her on a streetcar one day. In her red coat and holding a bag of oranges, she seizes his attention with a smile. When she gets off the streetcar, Jan can?t forget her. Who is she? What if he never sees her again? He embarks on a journey to find the girl with the oranges, a journey that will lead him through winter-cold Oslo and all the way to Spain.

A generation later, Jan Olav?s 16-year-old son, Georg, receives a letter left to him by his late father. The fates connect, and Georg faces a dilemma similar to his father?s. As Georg begins to understand his father?s predicament, he faces an opportunity to take a chance on love.

Through a witty and wondrously romantic tale, director Eva Dahr (Mars and Venus, Cinequest 2008) explores the mysteries of love at first sight and the colorful world that is revealed when we open our hearts.
