Finnish Tango
Running time: 90 mins
His van drives off the road, but Alex survives to start a new life.
Nearly killed by his suicidal friend's tragic drive, Alex, a young accordion player, embarks on a search for meaning. To this rascal, however, that means coming up with a phony handicap so he can move in with a group of theatrical actors. His new friends welcome him with open arms, and Alex gives them his only real gift-passionate tango sessions. Just as he starts falling for the pretty Lotte, Alex finds his motives questioned by his acerbic roommate Rudolph, who has a penchant for repeatedly faking his own death.
A must-see for Alex's pantomiming of a scene from Evil Dead 2 alone, Buket Alakus' comedy about scoundrels and their dreams is both warmhearted and smart-alecky.
