Jealousy, theft, romance, hatred, redemption, a touch of unlikely violence and a few surprises make Treseta an engrossing tale about everything that makes us human. Four long-time friends whittle away their hours playing the card game Treseta. One day, one of the quartet drops dead, leaving a gap in the game that must be filled. The remaining trio puts in motion a plan based on hope and desperation affecting almost everyone in their tiny village.

What at first appears to be a straight forward search stirs up a host of interconnected shocks and surprises that threaten to turn the small village upside-down. And what may seem random events soon begin to tie everything and everyone together whether the villagers want to be or not.
