Tonotiuh lives an erotic, neurotic, episodic and downright confusing life.

It all revolves around sexy women named Maria. Since his first Maria relationship ended tragically, Tonotiuh finds himself inexplicably drawn to women with that moniker?even before he knows their names! The problem is that he can?t figure out which parts of his life are real and which are fantasies. And while his therapist (yep, Maria) does her best to guide our protagonist to the solution, we?re not even sure when, and if, she?s real.

Writer and director, Jesus Magaña Vasquez, sweeps us along on Tonotiuh?s arousing?and very funny?journey. Some of his fantasies even begin talking to each other! And Julio Bracho gives Tonotiuh?s character just the right amount of depth and charisma to make us care about him. Is there an explanation? Will Tonotiuh ever figure it out? Here?s a clue: The answer lies within.
