Konyec

Running time: 105 mins

They?re the most loving, harmless elderly robbers you will ever meet.

A comedy with genuine charm, Konyec follows the exploits of Emil and Hedi, a couple in their seventies who just aren?t going to take it anymore. When faced with the inability to afford food or the everyday necessities, they choose a more rewarding life through bank heists. Their heartwarming journey is a Bonnie and Clyde-esque ride (minus the violence) as the couple rekindles their love by turning their otherwise uneventful life into a game of cops and robbers. Ironically, their adventure garners the widespread support and media attention that would make even the hottest celebrities jealous. But with so much attention and controversy, how much time does the ?dangerous? duo have?

One of those rare films that shed a deservingly kind light into the world of senior citizens and the challenges they face. Konyec inspires us to embrace life no matter what your age. And, hey, if you are going to be robbed, it might as well be by them.
