Around the Bay
Running time: 96 mins
The distance between us and those we love is often measured by silence. In that special darkness, we search for a bridge over which we can connect.
Wyatt seems to possess every material need. But his life is in shambles and he has no clue how to fix it. His girlfriend, Noreen, fed up with his stony indifference toward her and his five-year old son, Noah, suddenly leaves, shattering Wyatt?s mirrored imagery of the ?good life? into kaleidoscopic shards. Terrified of his new situation, he summons his estranged daughter, Daisy, to whom he hasn?t spoken in ten years, to look after Noah and possibly fill the deepening void of his existence. Spare and quiet, these glimpsed fragments of scattered lives ultimately gel into a riveting and organic whole, using whispered details to utter universal truths.
