Starring Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men, Vicky Christina Barcelona) and Cinequest Maverick Spirit honoree Elle Fanning (Teen Spirit, Maleficent), The Roads Not Taken depicts twenty-four tumultuous hours in the life of father daughter duo Leo and Molly, encumbered by the baggage they carry due to Leo's chaotic state of mind. As Leo hallucinates, and grapples with the different life he could have lived, the alternative decisions he could have made, Molly struggles, too. She has yet to choose her path. As both of them contemplate, one on the past, the other on the future, will this journey end in a peaceful resolution for either? Sally Potter (Orlando) directs another masterwork.  – Shwetha VR
