An alien goes on a bizarre joy ride in a human body.

Barry is a messed-up drug addict. After spending an evening abusing his wife and son, he angrily leaves his house, and while in a drug-induced haze, finds himself transported into a spaceship where an alien takes control of his body. When they return to earth, this alien’s shocking first glimpse into what it means to be human includes graphic sex and horrifying violence, interspersed with a few relatively normal moments. It’s impossible to predict what might come next as Barry and his alien passenger survive an absurdly wild ride through the shadier side of Cape Town, South Africa. – Shari Clare
