Things sometimes look clearer through a stranger’s eyes.

Phyllis leads a solitary existence. She works from home and keeps her social media presence active by posting pictures of her meals, which she also orders online. One afternoon, Em, a 20-something worker from a messenger service delivers a package to Phyllis’s home. Unfortunately, Em sprains her ankle when she slips on the steps. She is unable to walk, and Phyllis assists her. The lives of the two women are very different, but as the afternoon wears on, they enjoy each other’s company and surprisingly get along well enough that they share some intimate details of their personal lives with each other. As conflicts arise, each woman realizes something about herself, and tangled knots of emotions seem to unravel. – Pratibha Kelapure
