Examining the expectations of both characters and audience, this wonderful series explores what happens when children go beyond what their parents planned, when husbands fail to remain acceptable, when reality is not what it seems and when the people we count on begin to depend on us. They are stories of friends, families, fears and folly. The reasonable and the unfulfillable mix here in a program that will make as many requests of the viewer as of the viewed.
