Come Together

Running time: N/A

West Coast Premiere What are you to do when you are not getting the answers your heart is looking for? And why, in the name of all that is good, turn down affection or attention when the solace within it is calling? Calling incessantly in the form of a sweet, simple, high school girl who hasn't yet learned to drive? The predicament Ewan is in is not so simple as it should be. A 28-year-old greeting card writer, he has returned home for a wedding-the wedding of his ex-girlfriend, Charlotte, to a man with "a great facial structure and a lot of money." Of course, Ewan was expecting Charlotte to return to him, so the weekend forecast is storms-especially after Ewan meets Amy, a very sweet, very nubile, VERY young teenager, who quickly falls for the detached writer. Jeff Macpherson's debut feature is a true gem, wonderfully blending delicate comedy with sharp, insightful human emotion. Featuring incredible performances from Tygh Runyan (Kitchen Party), Laura Harris (The Faculty), and newcomer Eryn Collins, Come Together is a charming story about love's obsession and how to date a teen without knowing it.
