Things are not always what they seem, and sometimes the light can play tricks on the eyes. Altered perceptions and shifting points of view are the subject of this series of shorts. You may not know what to think or to believe until the final frame of many of these films ... and even then, who really knows? That seemingly hateful relationship may hide a true and real love (and vice versa). That double cross might just triple or even quadruple before the end of it all. That monster may turn out to be nothing at all or may be worse than you ever imagined. Come out and see for yourself - you won't believe your eyes. Some old friends have returned to Cinequest for this series: Winner of last year's Best Narrative Short award Shiona McCubbin (How High the Castle Walls), Nathan Garfinkel (last year's This Way Up) and Greg Pak (last year's Mouse and this year's Mindbenders, Po Mo Knock Knock).
