Director Tony Krantz? Sublime is a visually stunning and atmospheric horror tale about a man whose routine medical procedure goes horribly awry.

On the day after his 40th birthday, George Grieves (Tom Cavanaugh) is admitted to a hospital for a routine colonoscopy. Awakening from his anesthesia, George discovers that he has received someone else's procedure. As his condition deteriorates both physically and mentally, George discovers that something thoroughly unwholesome is going on in the hospital's East Ward. But before he can do anything with his knowledge, he must endure a torturous confrontation with a nurse, learn a horrifying truth about himself and muster the courage to make a life-altering choice.

Sublime is a socio-political allegory in the guise of a horror film. In a climate of uncertainty, fear, and a dysfunctional health-care system, it is a provocative modern-times tale exploring upper-middle class unconsciousness and entertaining the possibility that if you live your life in fear, then the only way that your life will have meaning is if what you fear becomes real.
