Stan Schofield?s Parting Words is a blue-collar laughter-and-tears tale about Vince, Nick and Eddie, three best friends who grew up together and are all in love with their best friend Laura. The trouble is that not only are they all secretly in love with one girl, but all the friends are married, except Laura.

The pot starts to boil with Laura?s lascivious drunken wedding toast to Vince. This does not go over well with Nick and Eddie, let alone Vince?s new wife. As the guys react to Laura?s desires, their hidden pasts make tumultuous relationships even more dysfunctional. And all the while, Laura has a secret that makes a turbulent situation even more chaotic.

A comedy with a tough edge, Parting Words, takes us into a world of people who want to act grown up, but aren?t quite there yet. Filmed on the sometimes mean streets of New Jersey, these best of buddies undertake a journey which ultimately leads them to discover the meaning of loyalty, affection and true friendship.
