In a Day

Running time: 80 mins

World Premiere

A drama. A comedy. A romance with an edge.

The setting is modern day London.

In this impulsive, dialogue driven character piece, young struggling female musician Ashley Branstead, has an unpleasant encounter with a stranger one particular morning. This disturbing incident jump starts what turns out to be a very curious, humorous and random day with another stranger, twentysomething?seemingly genuine?but odd Michael.

By his subtle and not so subtle persuasions, and throughout their experiences and peculiar conversations, Ashley begins to suspect that Michael?s actions might have an ulterior motive, one that makes a difference in their relationship once that mystery is revealed.

Actors Lorraine Pilkington (Ashley) and Finlay Robertson (Michael) light up the screen with charismatic performances and offer a perfect combination of sass and sincerity. Writer and director Evan Richards? feature debut is a slyly written comedy that perfectly captures life?s little moments?spicing up a genuine romantic tale with cleverly crafted twists.
