Victor has had enough. Working for a faceless corporation, ignored and unappreciated, he is confronted with an insult even he cannot ignore?his office has been relegated into the men?s room?literally! It is definitely time for Victor?s resignation. But, somehow, the company finds a way to rebuff Victor?s attempts to resign.

Enter Eve, a young and vibrant plumber, whose nearly impossible task is to fix the rapidly failing plumbing system of the aging M-Core high rise. Victor finds a comrade in arms in Eve, who much prefers spending her time trying to figure out the plumbing works than relating to people.

As Victor?s work situation deteriorates, so do the pipes in his ?office-bathroom.? And when things can?t seem to get any worse, the company?s intimidating owner, Mr. M., reveals his own special job for Victor.

Director Gal Katzir?s The Works is a farcical, yet insightful, look at the stultifying conditions of the modern workplace. In the vein of Office Space and Brazil, it is an inventive and satirical look at the art of survival in today?s corporate culture, while remaining true to oneself.
