Amongst the devastation, there always lies hope.
Conflict between Hindus and Muslims in India has often devastated and separated the country. A Muslim family returns to their home after fleeing the devastating riots, only to find charred remnants, and their lives shattered. A mixed marriage couple contemplates taking flight from the war-torn area for safety, but must face the tensions they have long suppressed. A young orphan wanders alone in the dangerous and obliterated streets. He seeks a better future, wherever he may find it. These are the victims.
